April Willy Creates Art for 2013′s Stepping Out In Style

April Willy was chosen to create the art for the 2013 Stepping Out In Style event, evoking the image of peacocks as a symbol of luck and beauty in her piece. April's artist statement from her website reads: I am grateful to be able to practice my craft as an illustrator as well as a fine artist. I try to tell a visual story in each of my paintings. The 'narrative' I tell most often revolves around the theme of a cyclical world, the changing seasons, and capturing that all important moment in time.
